KERRVILLE — Matthew S. Bovee, the former Camp LaJunta counselor accused of sexually abusing a boy there in 2009, is back in the Kerr County Jail, accused of violating the terms of the deal he struck during his May trial on sex charges.

He was initially charged with indecency and aggravated sexual assault of a child, to which he pleaded not guilty. As the jury deliberated his fate at trial, he pleaded guilty to injury to a child under a deal that resulted in a sentence of 10 years probation.
