PASCAGOULA, Mississippi - Reports said 35-year old Jonathan Dwight Havard was charged guilty for killing his girlfriend Thursday.
It only took less than an hour for the court to come up with a decision regarding Havard’s case. Havard’s verdict can be likened to a lifetime imprisonment since he can only petition for a parole if he is already 65 years old.
Jonathan Dwight Havard was convicted by the Jackson County Circuit Court as guilty of lacerating the throat of his 20-year old girlfriend named Cassidy Joy Hodges. On May 28 of the year 2009, the dead body of Hodges was recovered in the house of her grandmother.
