Salvadoran gets 25 years in Honduran’s murder

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – In a bizarre case, a Salvadoran, who argued with Honduran over which nation had better gangs, been sentenced to 25 years in prison for helping kill the homeless Honduran beneath a downtown San Antonio bridge.

Wilber Adalid Rodriguez, 24, will have to serve at least half of the murder sentence before he can apply for parole. And once released, he will likely be deported, according to authorities. His uncle Johel Steven Sanchez, 39, has also been charged with participating in the crime but his whereabouts are unknown.
