OCEAN SHORES, Washington – An Ocean Shores couple brought their children to as many as four recent burglaries in the beach community were caught breaking into a home, police said.
The couple gave the stolen jewelry to their children to take to school, police said.
According to police, a neighbor’s door was noticed opened by an off-duty officer Thursday and scared off a woman named, Carleen Bernhard. The woman soon stopped before admitting the burglary to officers, who also arrested her husband, Nicholas Kell.
A large amount of electronics and other belonging, including those jewelry wore by their children were recovered, police said.
