MARYSVILLE, Ohio – The law enforcement officials in Union County said that they were called to a hospital after a woman drove herself to the hospital and reported that she was abducted and raped Saturday, according to the reports.

The Union County police investigators say that the woman said that she was abducted by two men who posted as law enforcement officials.

She said that she was flagged down by the suspects who she thought was a law enforcement officer. She said that one of the suspects forced her out of her car and another man get into her car and drove it, according to the reports.

The incident took place near Route 245 and Paver-Barns Road. She stopped because she thought that the vehicle belonged to the law enforcement officials after seeing the flashing light, reports say.

Reports indicated that she was transported to a different location where the suspects sexually assaulted her. The suspect released the victim after sexually assaulting her.

The victim immediately drove herself to the Memorial Hospital of Union County after she was released and contacted the officers to report the incident.

The Union County police investigators say that the suspects were driving a white Old model Chevy with an extended-cab pick-up truck. It has a flashing light that is probably located near the headlight, according to the reports.

The victim described the first suspect as a 25-year-old white male who was wearing a John Deere ball cap with square bill when the incident took place. He is approximately 6 feet in height. He is thin built with facial hair and dark hair and dark eyes.

The second suspect was a 20-year-old white male. He was a medium built individual and was also wearing a ball cap with a square bill.

There were no suspects that were taken into custody in connection with the abduction and the sex assault.

PICKERINGTON, Ohio – The Pickerington high school student and former Ohio State University football Central star surrendered to the Pickerington Police Department Tuesday after being accused of rape, according to the reports.

The highly touted wide receiver out of Ohio’s Pickerington High School Central was accused of raping an 18-year-old Pickerington Central High School student in two separate occasions.

The accused wide receiver at Pickerington Central High School was identified as 18-year-old Roger Lewis Jr.  He was charged with two counts of rape. He spent part of Wednesday’s National Signing Day before a judge in an arraignment.

Documents show that Lewis alleged rape against the 18-year-old woman took place in December and on Jan. 6. The woman had filed a police report and a protection order since then.

The alleged rape took place in the vehicle of the 18-year-old girl in which the vehicle was driven by the accused, according to the reports.

Lewis was under investigation for nearly a month, according to the Pickerington police and the Fairfield County Prosecutor’s Office.

Fairfield County Prosecutor Gregg Marx said that Roger Lewis Jr. will be presented to the Fairfield County grand jury, according to the reports.

He was held in the county jail on a $250,000 bond Tuesday. On Wednesday, the judge set a $75,000 bond during the arraignment. The lawyer of the accused expressed that they are going to pay for the bond that was set, according to the reports.

Police say that when Lewis surrendered, he was cooperative when they were doing interview with him, according to the Pickerington Police Department.

During the arraignment, the mother was present and spoke to the press and said that his son was a “child of God.”

FLORENCE, Kentucky — Boone Sheriff’s deputies say that they have arrested a 25-year-old Boone County man in connection with an accusation of molesting an 11-year-old girl who was in his care, according to the reports.

The 11-year-old girl was entrusted to the care of the man who was a residence of White Pine Circle near Florence.

The 25-year-old Boone County sex predator was identified as Corey Nida. The Boone County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested him Tuesday for molesting an 11-year-old girl for six months, according to the reports.

Corey Nida was taken into custody without any incident at his home on White Pine Circle. He is currently being held at the Boone County Detention Center.

He is being charged with first degree sexual abuse that is punishable by five to ten years in prison. He was also charged with first degree rape and first degree sodomy which are punishable by  twenty to fifty years in prison each, according to the reports.

The Boone County man can be in prison for a maximum of one hundred ten years.

There was no immediate information that was given in connection with the reasons why the eleven-year-old girl, whose name was not given, was entrusted to the sex predator.

On a separate story, a vehicle that was driven by a woman crashed into a Florence business Wednesday afternoon, according to the reports.

The Furniture Fair store manager said that the vehicle was pulling in and failed to stop. The woman’s vehicle jumped into the curb and struck the Furniture Fair store, according to the reports.

There was no report of any injuries when the accident occurred. The driver was not harmed.

CINCINNATI, Ohio — Police in Cincinnati say that a man struck an officer while the man was trying to get away from the officer, according to the reports.

The Cincinnati officer was struck by the man at the Lincoln Heights. The officer trued to stop the man because he was driving a stolen car, police says.

Eliyah Yisrael Bridges was arrested short time later and was charged with felonious assault and a felony charge of receiving stolen property. He was also charged with misdemeanor counts of reckless operation and driving without a license.

The officer was transported to Bethesda North Hospital by Lincoln Heights paramedic’s afar being injured in the encounter. He was treated from a shoulder injury. His name was not immediately available.

The 18-year-old man was arraigned Monday and is being held on a $50,000 bond, according to the records.

On a separate story, a 69-year-old Anderson Township man who was already charged with child rape faces child pornography charges, according to the reports.

The 69-year-old Anderson Township man was identified as Richard Tomkins. He faces child pornography charges after the police discovered dozens of pornography materials from his laptop, according to the reports.

A hundred thousand dollar bond was set by a grand jury judge. He was arraigned in a Hamilton County courtroom on Monday.

Court documents show that Richard Tomkins was already charged with 20 counts of rape and six counts of unlawful sex with a minor. He was able to post a bond for his temporary freedom.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Police in Columbus say that a 34-year-old man was found shot Sunday, according to the reports.

The Columbus police and the emergency personnel were called to respond to the 3175 E. Livingston Avenue following a report of shots that were fired in the area at around 6 a.m. Sunday morning, according to the Columbus police.

The 34-year-old victim told the Columbus police that he was walking down the street when a woman tried to talk to him. When he walked away, he heard a shot and was struck once to his chest. He also told the police that there was a vehicle that passed him the same time the shooting took place, according to the reports.

The 34-year-old victim was identified as Norbal Cummings. He tried to take himself to the hospital but he passed out because of the gunshot wound. The responding medic personnel transported the victim to the Grant Medical Center where he is in a stable condition.

The Columbus police investigators say that there were at least two men who were involved in the shooting incident. There were no details that were available in connection with the identities of the suspects.

On a separate story, a 63-year-old Akron man is accuse of sexual assault of a 75-year-old Akron woman on an intensive care unit at an Akron hospital, according to the reports.

The Akron man visited the woman and claimed that he knows the woman. Reports say that he sexually assaulted the woman while in the Akron General Medical Center.  The victim was not able to speak because of her medication.

The abuse was discovered after the blood pressure alarm of the woman sounded. Reports say that the man was found with his hand under the bedroom sheet of the patient, according to the reports.

The 63-year-old man was identified as Ronald E. St. Clair. He was arrested but was set free after posting a bond. He was ordered not to have contact with the 75-year-old woman.

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio – The law enforcement officers in Middletown are looking for an illegal immigrant who allegedly sexually assaulted a minor at least three times, according to the reports.

The 42-year-old immigrant is being accused of sexual imposition against a thirteen-year-old girl. He is being sought for three counts of sexual imposition with a minor, records show.

He is also being sought by the Springboro police for five counts of sexual imposition with a minor and one felony count of sexual misconduct with a minor, according to the reports.

The suspect was believed to be known to the 13-year-old girl and her family. They knew each other through a church. They were all attending the Iglesia Cristiana Hispana Ohio on Lewis Street in Middletown, according to the reports.

The 42-year-old illegal immigrant sex predator was identified as Ismael Reyes Morales, a resident of Sandstone Drive in Monroe, reports say.

The family of the 13-year-old girl became aware of the things that the sex predator did to the girl after intercepting text messages from the man that were inappropriate. The man is also accused of touching the girl inappropriately, according to the reports.

Reports say that the 42-year-old man was an illegal immigrant from Mexico and had been in the United States for ten years now. He was advised to turn himself in but did not heed the advised of his attorney, according to the reports.

The family of the 13-year-old girl feared that the illegal immigrant from Mexico might have already left the area.

On a separate story, the Dayton police are looking for a robber who robbed and beat a 71-year-old man in his Towers Drive apartment Wednesday, according to the reports.

The Dayton police say that the elderly let the man in after knocking on his door and claimed that he was from a home health care group. The man then beat the elderly man after he opened the door. He stole two thousand dollars from the elderly man, according to the reports.

Local Investigation of Matthew Bovee

In August of 2010, a former Lincoln resident, Matthew S. Bovee was indicted by a grand jury in Kerr County, Texas, for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and Indecency of a Child by Sexual Contact. He was accused of molesting an 11-year-old boy at Camp La Junta summer camp in 2009. He allegedly touched the boy’s private parts while screening campers as they emerged from showers to ensure they were clean.

On May 10, 2011, Matthew Bovee admitted to sexually assaulting a child and pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of Injury of a Child with Intent to Harm. In a deal with prosecutors, he was sentenced to 10 years of probation. He was arrested just three months later for violating several terms of that probation. Matthew Bovee later pled “true” and was sentenced to nine years in prison.

Prior to leaving Lincoln in 2008, twenty-two year old Matthew Bovee was employed as a youth fitness trainer and lifeguard. Due to his frequent contact with children, there is a possibility that there are victims in the Lincoln area. OXFORD, Ohio — The Law enforcement officers in Oxford say that they are investigating three sexual assaults where two of them happened on the same day and the most recent was two days after the two sex assaults took place, according to the reports.

The first sexual assault involves a 20-year-old Miami University student. She told the Oxford law enforcement officers that she was assaulted in a home outside the campus. She also said that the man was a student in the Miami University who lives in the residence where the sex assault was committed.

On the same day, a 53-year-old woman told the law enforcement officers in Oxford that she was sexually assaulted by a man known to her inside his van, according to the reports.

The Law enforcement officers in Oxford are also investigating a sex assault on an eighteen-year-old girl, two days after the sex assault of the two women.

The eighteen-year-old woman told the police that she sexually assaulted at the residence of the assailant. She said that the assailant told her that he had a party at his house. She decided to go and when she arrived at the scene, there was no one except the sex predator in the house. The man then sexually assaulted her, according to the police reports.

Records indicate that there were at least three raped, three sexual battery and on gross sexual imposition that were reported since August 2011.

On a separate story, a New Franklin man who was accused of killing a cab driver had pleaded guilty Monday before Summit County Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh, according to the reports.

The New Franklin man who was identified as Raul Benitez-Maranon said that he killed the longtime cab driver who was identified as Jerry Laury because he disrespected him. The suspect is currently being held at the Summit County Jail, according to the reports.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Law enforcement officers in Cleveland say that they were able to arrest the man who raped a 14-year-old girl who was on her way to school when the man sexually assaulted her, according to the reports.

The 18-year-old Cleveland male teen was arrested by the Cleveland Police detectives in the 1300 block of East 82nd Street.  The neighbors told the police that the teen spend most of his time in the vacant lot where the rape took place, according to the reports.

The 18-year-old Cleveland teen was identified as Devin Brothers. The Cleveland police believed that he was the one who is responsible for robbing and raping a 14-year-old girl last Thursday who was walking to school along East 82nd and Linwood, according to the Cleveland police reports.

The Cleveland police officers were informed of the crime after the victim told the teachers of the Martin Luther King High where she was studying. The Cleveland police investigators went to the scene of the crime and found the eyeglasses of the victim, according to the reports.

The 14-year-old girl told the police that the suspect grabbed her by the hair and sexually assaulted.  She was also robbed and physically assaulted by the sex predator.

A female who lives in the neighborhood said that she was also avoiding the Cleveland teen who spend most of his time in the vacant lot because he does not trust him, according to the reports.

The Cleveland teen is currently being held at the Central Prison Unit awaiting charges.  His case will be handled by the Cuyahoga County grand jury, according to the reports.

The 18-year-old Cleveland teen was arrested by the Third District Detectives without any incident, according to the reports.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Law enforcement officers in Cleveland say that they were able to arrest a 36-year-old Cleveland man in a Cleveland airport for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old Cleveland girl, according to the reports.

The 36-year-old Cleveland man was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force. He was wanted by the Cleveland Police Department for sexual assault allegations.

He was arrested around midnight Monday at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. The law enforcement officers say that the man was trying to escape. He was located by the members of the task force in the ticketing area and was arrested immediately, according to the reports.

The sex predator was arrested without any incident minutes after the members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrived at the airport after learning that the wanted Cleveland man was trying to leave Ohio via a commercial plane, according to the reports.

The 36-year-old Cleveland man was identified as Solomon Williams III. He was accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old Cleveland girl multiple times beginning in 2008 up until 2011, according to the reports.

The U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott says that the sex offenders who targets minors are the most dangerous offenders in the community, according to the reports.

The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force had been looking for the 37-year-old Cleveland for a week after the case was referred to them, according to the reports.

The 36-year-old Solomon Williams III is being booked at the Cuyahoga County Jail.

There were no other details that were given in connection with the sex assault of the 13-year-old Cleveland girl. There was no information with regards to the charges that will be filed against the 36-year-old Cleveland man sex predator.
