GOLETA, California – The 22-year-old son of a Hollywood director reportedly stabbed three men to death in his apartment, gunned down two women outside a sorority and killed a sixth person in a shooting rampage.

Authorities said the lone gunman, Elliot Rodger, the son of a director who worked on the “The Hunger Games,” allegedly carried out his attacks Friday night in the beach community of Isla Vista near the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Authorities said the attack took place hours after he looked into a video camera and warned in a disturbing Internet video that he would slaughter those with a good life, especially women who shunned him.

3 soldiers charged in 2012 sex assault

AUSTIN, Texas — An arrest affidavit states three soldiers have been accused of sexually assaulting a woman in an Austin hotel last year.

It has been reported that staff sergeants Perris L. Dumas, Marcus V. Davis, and Timothy R. Slack have each been charged with sexual assault, a second-degree felony. Both Dumas, 30, and Davis, 32, are staff sergeants at Fort Hood, while Slack, 33, is a staff sergeant at Fort Sill in Oklahoma.

Double Murder Suspect in Vacaville Booked in Jail

FAIRFIELD, California – The suspect of killing two people and wounding another one at Vacaville apartment complex last month was finally booked into Solano County Jail late Sunday, on charges of double murder and attempted murder.

Scheduled to be arranged on the charges Tuesday in Solano County Supreme Court is the 18-year-old Richard Calkins.

He was transferred to the jail from a hospital after his treatment of head injury he suffered after he fell on the steps of the police station where he was being shot with Taser shortly after the shooting on November 16.

Death of a 9-Year-old Boy under Investigation

MARION, Indiana – Marion investigators believes to what killed a 9-year-old was caused by carbon monoxide poisoning.

Hours after it occurred…

Neighbor Dustin Riggle said, “Make me think twice when Thanksgiving comes around next year, I’ll remember it that’s for sure.”

Riggle lives just next door from the mobile home, where the lifeless body of a 9-year-old boy has been found.

“I guess they were renovating inside the house,” Riggle added.

It was the mother, who found the 9-year-old boy, his sister and their father passed out inside the mobile home, police said.

Immigrant convicted of murder happened nearly a decade ago

Washington- A jury on Monday finally announced its verdict having Salvadoran immigrant Ingmar Guandique convicted of killing Chandra Levy in 2001 nearly a decade ago. The jury of three men and nine women deliberated for a little more than three days before announcing its verdict, which caps one of the nation’s longest-running and most relentlessly chronicled murder mysteries. The 29-year old Ingmar Guandique’s sentencing will come later, following additional court proceedings. The extremely tattooed man is already serving a prison sentence for attacking two other women in Washington’s Rock Creek Park.

San Antonio, Texas – A father was arrested for killing a man whose headless body was found in a south Bexar county field according to reports Saturday. Sheriff’s deputies said 32-year-old Shawn Phillips admitted to participating in the murder of 33-year-old Mark Gabler, who also has been accused of sexually assaulting one of Phillips’ family members. Investigators say two others also admitted to participating in the crime. Arrested Saturday, Phillips was being held at Bexar County Jail on a murder charge and in lieu of posting $75,000 bail.

AUSTIN, Texas — Evil, idiots, stupid, selfish, etc: these things are just a few of what people think of Martha Hernandez and Kenneth Hernandez, after the couple allegedly killed Christy Lynne Espinosa, a 21-year old waitress and a lifelong resident of South Austin who graduated Crockett High School, worked as a waitress at Applebee’s. Her mother, Diana Espinosa, told the jury that she had planned to take classes at Austin Community College but unfortunately, didn’t have the chance after she was killed with her body set on fire just off a roadway in eastern Travis County last year.

Prosecution: All Set for Father’s Murder Trial

LEE COUNTY, Florida – The prosecution says it is ready to start the trial for a father who is facing a second degree murder charges in the death of his three month old son, in court Wednesday. However, the defense hasn’t interviewed any witnesses.

Investigators found that 31-year-old Ryan Costello had beaten his 3-month-old son Darwin, causing fractures to both his spine and ribs. The Father was arrested five months ago.

The 3-month-old son’s murder was happened in Costello’s home in the south Fort Myers, according to deputies.

It was learned that Costello drove the baby and his girlfriend to HealthPark Hospital and left them.
