CLEVELAND, Ohio – Authorities say a couple was shot and killed inside their car dealership Friday night.
Cleveland police spokeswoman Jennifer Ciaccia said the shooting happened just after 10 p.m. at Mr. Car Sales auto dealership on East 185th Street between Hiller and Schenely avenues.
A news release from Cleveland City Council identifies the victims as 45-year-old Trina Kuznik and 50-year-old Michael Kuznik. They both suffered a gunshot wound to the head. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
According to a preliminary investigation, the victims’ 19-year-old son reportedly went to the dealership after unsuccessful attempts to reach them and found them shot. He then called for help.
Property was taken from the office, but it’s unknown if any vehicles were taken from the dealership.
The incident is under investigation and no arrests have been made in the killing. Authorities are asking anyone with information to call investigators at 216-623-5464 or Crimestoppers at 216-252-7463.
Meanwhile, authorities are also looking for a man who allegedly robbed a Citizens Bank on Saturday afternoon.
FBI spokeswoman Vicki Anderson said the robbery happened just after noon Saturday at the Pearl Road branch south of Broadview Road where the alleged robber entered the bank and spoke to a manager, waited in line, then gave a note indicating a bank robbery to the teller.
He yelled and demanded for money and gestured to his pocket that made employees believe he had a weapon. He stated “Don’t make me use this,” but no one saw a weapon. The teller reportedly complied with the robber’s demand for money.
He left through the back of the bank to the rear parking lot and was last seen on foot. Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact Cleveland police at 216-623-5000, the Cleveland FBI at 216-522-1400 or Crimestoppers at 216-252-7463.
