NORTH TOLEDO, Ohio – Police in North Toledo are looking for a 20-year-old Toledo man who is believed to be responsible for shooting a 32-year-old man late Thursday afternoon, according to the reports.

Toledo police investigators say that the victim was shot at least three times. They also say that the victim and the suspect knew each other but they are still trying to determine the motives for the shooting.

The shooting is believed to have taken place at the Stickney and Bronson avenues near a carryout where the 32-year-old lives nearby. The shooting took place at around 4:30 p.m. late Thursday afternoon, according to the police reports.

The Toledo police responded to the scene and discovered the victim in the 700 block of East Central Avenue near a gas station. It is believed that the victim was able to run from the shooter and called for help.

The 32-year-old victim was identified as Duron Bell. The medic transported him to the Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center where he was treated from a life threatening injury.  The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, arm and to his ear, according to the reports.

The Toledo police had identified the 20-year-old shooter as Kiron Renfroe. Records show that the shooter had a long list of criminal charges that includes rape and theft charges, according to the reports.

Renfroe is also a registered sex offender in Toledo after being convicted last year from sexual battery, according to the attorney General’s website.

The recent shooting incident is the 11^th incident this week only in the city limits, according to the Toledo police.

The suspect is still not in the custody of the Toledo police and they are asking for assistance from the public for information that will help locate the registered sex offender shooter. The Toledo police also say that the warrant of his arrest is out, according to the reports.
