The first shooting victim was a 25-year old West side man who was shot in a driveway in the 7500 block of Denison Avenue where the Cleveland police and the medic personnel were called to respond.
Cleveland police investigators say that the shooting incident stemmed from a robbery that took place at around 12:30 a.m. early Tuesday morning, according to the reports.
The responding medic personnel transported the shooting victim to the MetroHealth Medical Center where he was treated from a non-life threatening injury and was released after receiving treatment. His name was not immediately available.
Police reports say that the victim was robbed by two men. The victim told the police that robbers grabbed him and demanded for his properties. The robbers were armed. He was shot while the robbers were searching for his belongings.
The robbers took off after the victim punched one of the robbers to the face, according to the reports.
The second incident took place at a west side Cleveland gas station early Tuesday morning about an hour and a half after the first shooting incident.
The Cleveland police were called to respond to the Hanini Petroleum Gas Station at West 73rd Street and Lorain Avenue following a report of a shooting incident that erupted at around 3 a.m. early Tuesday morning, according to the reports.
The unidentified victim was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center after suffering two gunshot wounds to his leg, reports say.
There were no reports of any suspects that were taken into custody in connection with the shooting incidents.
