WESTLAKE, Ohio – Police in Cleveland say that a 16-year-old Avon Lake girl was apprehended by a man who is in his twenty’s at a shopping mall and asked for the girl’s pantyhose, according to the reports.
Westlake Police Captain Guy Turner said that the incident took place at the Union Street garage at Crocker Park. The suspect grabbed the woman and demanded for her pantyhose and told her that she needs the pantyhose to fix his car, reports say.
Reports indicated that the woman complied with the demands of the man and took off her pantyhose and gave it to the man. The man then left in a hurry as soon as the 16-year-old Avon Lake woman handed the pantyhose over to him.
Police in Cleveland say that they responded to the scene and sought for the man who was wearing a camouflage baseball cap together with the mall security guard but did not found the suspect, according to the reports.
On a separate story, two teens were arrested after two residences were burglarized in the city’s west side, according to the reports.
The two teen, a 14-year-old girl and 15-year-old boy were arrested Tuesday. They are believed to be responsible for burglarizing two residences in the area at the Auburndale Avenue and Stonewood Drive.
The arrest came after a resident called for the police after seeing the two teens who were brandishing their weapons near Garman Road. When the police arrived at the scene, they saw the boy who threw a weapon in a tree, according to the reports.
The police were able to recover several weapons, ammunitions and a laptop computer that were believed to be stolen, according to the reports.
The two teen were transported by the police to the Summit County Juvenile Detention Center. They were arrested without any incident.
